Bobby Mardis, a Hammond, Indiana native who now calls Atlanta home, is a multifaceted professional with a remarkable journey in the entertainment industry. Bobby is the owner and creator of Eternal-Legacies. A member of both the Directors Guild of America (DGA) and the Writers Guild of America (WGA), Bobby’s expertise spans multiple realms. He studied communication and advertising at UCLA and USC, honed his acting skills at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and immersed himself in countless workshops across Los Angeles.
With over 40 years in the industry, Bobby has amassed a wealth of experience, participating in over 300 projects in various capacities. This extensive background has shaped him into a seasoned and well-rounded filmmaker. Co-founded by Bobby Mardis, Bobby Mardis Productions has partnered with Fat Chance Films and B. Story Pictures to deliver impactful films, television, and industrial projects.
Recognized worldwide, Bobby’s films have received numerous awards in prestigious film festivals. He achieved unparalleled success with “Midnight Blue,” a made-for-television comedy that garnered exceptional ratings on B.E.T.’s Arabesque slate. His directorial skills shine through in projects like the socially conscious “The Silence is Broken,” a benefit concert film featuring a myriad of musical stars for AIDS prevention.
Bobby’s cinematic range spans the underground music documentary “Beats by the Bay,” the impactful “Keeping the Faith” highlighting Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, and the captivating jazz project “Passing the Torch.” His dedication to his craft fuels him to raise funds creatively, producing electronic press kits, commercials, music videos, and more.
Bobby has produced over 400 short-form docu-style EPKs (Electronic Press kits) with complete interviews. He has edited over 200 of these short profiles which are perfect exhibitions of careers, individual lives, companies and profiles. Bobby also produces documentaries nationally and internationally. Bobby delivers perfection and inspirational overviews or everyday people like you!
